My fiancee parked our car in the parking lot of her work on Black Friday because she was closing. When she got off of work, a coworker that she was taking home saw that someone had hit the rear passenger fender with their car. She didn't report it that night, and the only way she can see the video footage from the security cameras at her store is if she has a police report. What we need to know is if we can still file a police report for this incident even though is occurred 2 to 3 days before?

You certainly can't file a hit and run report before the hit and run has occurred. Yes your friend can report the hit and run late but should do it as soon as possible.

Yes you can file it still. With the police report, go get the footage and if the footage show anything, obtain a copy of it and file a supplemental police report.
