Talk to your lawyer. Your attonrey can file a nonsuit. If you are using the OAG and if you have received services, then the case is unlikely to be nonsuited.
Your children deserve to be supported by BOTH parents. Why are you allowing the chldren's father to skate?
If you filed the petition--you can file a non-suit, and then it will be over.
If the attorney general filed the petition-contact them. If that doesn't work show up at the hearing once it is set and say what it is you want. If you were on Aid, he will owe the state money so your wanting to stop it won't matter until that amount is paid.
As you were previously advised, if you don’t show up at the hearing the AG will get whatever orders they have pled for.
If no legal action has been filed, you should contact the attorney general's office to close the child support case. They will be able to inform you if you are eligible to close your case. If your child is receiving any type of state assistance this may affect the benefits. The law requires both parents to support the child. If the legal action was filed by you, you can call the court and let them know you want to dismiss the case and see what their procedure is to dismiss the case. If you did not file the legal action, you cannot dismiss the case. Contact a lawyer for a consultation to see if they can give your more clarification.
