Re-entering US after 10 years bar as Canadian citizen, any issues I can face?

Hello, I took voluntary departure (left US May 22, 2004 - supposed to have left May 24, 2004 according to the paper given by the judge) and went back home. I followed there procedure to report with the American Embassy back home and I also faxed the confirmation that I have left US and landed back home and got signature from US embassy). Since then I became a US citizen and now I am trying to enter US through the border after 10 years (May 22, 2004 - May 22, 2014). Can you please tell me if I will face any issues? No felony or criminal record exists. I actually tried two years ago to enter the border when i got my Canadian passport and the US border advised me of the 10 year bar and that once it is over I can enter, considering I have no criminal record. Please advise. Thank you.

It appears that you have fulfilled the requirements of the 10 year ban. It would be best to consult an immigration attorney/

You should speak with an officer from the US consulate prior to arriving at the border. You might need to apply for a visa.

If you have a 10-year bar, and now have Canadian Citizenship, I recommend you drop by the Embassy to speak to a consular affairs officer prior to your visit just to make sure there won't be any problems, and then, if you suspect that there will be a problem, speak to an immigration attorney.
