My question is when wyoming transfers my traffic violation record to california will i be eligible to go to traffic school to take this point of my record ? I have called both CA dmv and wyoming courts. Wyoming tells me all they do is transfer the info over and its up to california to sentence this case. CA dmv tells me they will comply with wyomings decision. what can i do to find out if i am eligible to go to traffic school and remedy my driving record it has been about a month since i paid the fine

Once you paid the fine it is a conviction. You should contact a Wyoming attorney about getting it set aside so that it doesn't affect your California license.

Wyoming will merely hand the information over to California. You paid your fine here, so that is all that will come of it. Wyoming does not maintain a point system so that applies only to California. For simply speeding there is not corrective action, traffic school, etc. that can be undertaken to change the charge and payment of fine. I believe it is entirely a California issue.
