Multiple charges for sexual harassment that continually goes on. From many different employees. The company I work for has thousands of employees and if they offer me a settlement to stay out of court how much money should be reasonable. I have talked to lawyers and they only want to take my case if I get fired. I am still employed at the company.

Mr. Goldsmith is absolutely correct!! Hire a lawyer. The best advice would be to set an appointment with an attorney who specializes in employment law and sexual harassment cases. Then after a thorough review of all of the facts, they can give you an opinion as to whether you have a viable claim, and what procedural steps you should take. Many attorneys handle these cases on a contingency percentage fee, taking a percentage of the recovery. In contingency fee arrangements, there are no hourly fees. In some states attorneys do not charge anything for an initial appointment to discuss your case but in others there is a reasonable fee charged to compensate the attorney for their time and advice. I would suggest that you begin your search for an attorney on this website. There is a tab "Find A Lawyer" on the home page of at www.attorneyqna.com that will help you find a lawyer in this practice area in your locale. Good luck!

Don't even think about trying to negotiate without getting your own counsel first. If you have been subjected to a hostile work environment, there should be qualified lawyers who would be interested in the case. Perhaps you haven't plugged into the right network just yet. This large company will have a team of lawyers and HR people to consider the situation. How can you compete on your own?

I recommend that you privately contact other employees at your company who have either been subjected to or have witnessed sexual harassment. Ask if they have seen an attorney or would be willing to speak privately to your attorney. Group or class actions should be settled together for maximum recovery and to force changes at the company that will make the work environment better for everyone. Your employer may try to settle the worst cases and get those employees to agree to confidentiality.
