Is $435 a month increase in salary considered a substantial change in circumstance?

I am currently looking to modify my final judgment to move my daughters school from Osceola county florida to Lake county florida which is where i currently reside. The judge has already ruled it is not a relocation case, as i am within my 50 miles. I was offered a job closer to home making an extra $435 a month and was wondering if that would be a considered substantial change? I can not accept if i wouldnt beable to bring my daughter with.

An increase in income can be a substantial change in circumstances. It is, of course, relative to your particular case. An attorney would need more facts to adequately answer your question though. Such, as what percentage increase in income is this for you.

The change in income may or may not be sufficient to warrant a change in circumstances as to child support or alimony, depending on what the incomes were previously. However, a change in income is not a sufficient change for time sharing purposes. If you are looking to move from Osceola County to Lake County and it is not more than 50 miles and are concerned about a change in time sharing, the change in income would have nothing to do with that determination.
