i have valid H1b petition approved till Sep 2016 , but my company wants to file COS to L1A and file my GC in EB1C category , my question is if my L1A gets rejected am i eligible to continue on H1B till Sep 2016 ?

It is possible to continue in H-1B status notwithstanding the denial of a change of status.

Yes your permitted to continue in L status if the COS is not granted as long as you continue in the employ of the L company.
