I suggest contacting the court and providing them with the index number to inquire as to the status. There may be an issue with the paperwork that was filed which is creating a delay. Contacting the court directly may help to expedite moving forward.

This means that the case is being reviewed by the Uncontested Matrimonial clerk. Usually this can take up to about 3 months from when ALL of the papers are submitted, give or take. If you have not received any letters from the clerk and it is more than 3 months, there maybe a problem with the submission. Go to the court clerk in Central Islip and talk to the uncontested clerk to find out what is the hold up.

If it's an uncontested divorce that simply means it's assigned but not yet reviewed by a judge.
