It is very possible that you will lose your concealed weapons permit. Since this was posted in Portland, I assume that this is a Multnomah County CCW pemit. I have seen several other Oregon counties terminate a person's CCW permit solely for an arrest, but I have not experienced this in Multnomah County (not saying it doesn't happen here, I just haven't had a client experience it yet) . So, dependent upon the policies of the Multnomah county sheriff, you may have the same situation happen to you in Multnomah County. However, it is a certainty, that even if the sheriff's don't act to revoke the permit upon conviction, you will not be able to renew your permit because it is a condition of both a new application and a renewal application that you have NOT been convicted of a misdemeanor in the 4 years preceding either the application or the renewal application.
