Is it a common constitutional right to travel in my automobile on public roads to work and grocery store without a license.

I got a driving on suspended licence ticket two months. Before I could get my license reinstated. I just feel like I have been done wrong . I just feel that a free American should e allowed to take his self to work and to the market to purchase food for his family. I have know one else to take me and I just don't feel like a free man at all . After reading some articles and watching videos online it seems a lot of people have beat this by proving they have a constitutional right to travel as long as it is not commercial or for hire . If I can use this and prevent any further actions to be taken against I would like advise on how to do so

There is no US constitutional right to drive a car on a public road without a license. Laws are written describing driving as a privilege and not a right. Please be careful about videos you see from non-lawyers on the internet. You would be best off contacting a local attorney.

There have to be some rules to make even a free society function. None of us are truly "free" despite what your 3rd grade social studies teacher said. Driving has been determined to be a privilege and not a right. Thus, state law will dictate driving rules and restrictions. That said, you must have a license to legally drive

Good luck with that argument Dickinson, ND. You will lose and possibly be sentenced to jail time. Either way, you can expect large fines. The states have regulated driving and the issuance and subsequent suspension of driver's licenses since the invention of the automobile. I don't think you have stumbled upon a novel argument. Here's an idea: Figure out what you need to get your license back and GET YOUR LICENSE BACK.

It may SEEM like a lot of people have 'beat' the rap under circumstances you described--but its not so. You (me either) have no right to drive a car without a valid state issued driver's license. Get yourself an attorney because the court is going to be unmoved by what you 'feel' should be--the court is going to go by what the law says (no license = no driving).
