Can I sue executor of my grandma's will for trashing my belongings stored in my grandma's garage with knowledge of being mine?

I just moved out of my grandma's house a few months ago but still store some of my stuff at her house in her garage. She died last week and my uncle is the executor of her will, wich will be read today after the funeral. All week he has been "cleaning" out her house and thrown away a lot of my things without notifying me or asking me. When I call the house he won't answer the phone for me until I pulled up infront of it. I asked to get my stuff but he said "No" because he was about to leave. What do I do? My stuff isn't worth much but it does have value and he has thrown away whatever he wants to.

If your uncle will be appointed by the Court in a probate proceeding, you may file a claim in the probate case. The procedure for filing a claim may vary from state to state; however, in most cases it involves filing a sworn claim with the Court in the probate case. You may also contact the attorney for the estate, who is representing your uncle, and ask him for instructions for filing a claim against the estate.
