I have an indian passport and being expired by next 6 months, so applied for new passport. I have a got a new job and planning for H1B transfer. Can i continue with the current passport no or i need to wait till i receive my new passport?

USCIS typically requires the passport is valid for more than 6 months when applying for an extension of stay (transfer).
