I filed I-140 in the US and came back to India. I am not on any US visa now. In I-140, I opted for consular processing. My EB1 got approved. Can I file I-485 from India now?

No, the I-485 can only be filed by someone who is lawfully present and physically inside of the US when they file. You can Consular Process with a DS-260, instead of going to the US to file the I-485.

You only file I-485 adjustment of status if you're in the US. Consult an experienced immigrant attorney on how to consular process your case.

You need to consular process. I-485 can only be filed if you are within the United States.
