Should my wife apply for B2 or K3 visa to visit the US for extended period?

I am a US citizen who married to an eastern European woman. We have two kids, both being US citizens. Our family lives in eastern Europe permanently since I have a business here and we plan to live here for a few more years before relocate to the US. However as my two kids enter school age (my older one will enter 1st grade this fall), I am thinking to live in the US a few months a year, not every year but maybe every other year, so that my kids can attend school in the US to improve their English. Should I apply for a B2 visa for my wife each time we want to stay in the US for a few months OR apply for a K3 visa for my wife now since our family will eventually move to the US? Can a K3 visa holder delay obtaining a green card until when she is ready?
You are probably in that small class of people where the embassy will not be very paranoid about issuing a tourist visa. It is not time to relocate to the US or file for residency. Hopefully she'll get a multiple-entry visa "to go see family" - alternatively you relocate home, and return to eastern europe for a few months each year for business reasons while your wife sits out the three years to become a citizen. Once you do decide to relocate and get her residence, don't do it on your own.
If your wife has the intent to visit the US for a temporary period of time then return to her home country then B2 is proper for the time being.
Keep in mind though, B2 visas are usually subject to more scrutiny in East European countries. The other thing is her husband, you, is a US citizen and her 2 children are US citizens too, it might be a challenge to convince the consul that she has an intent to visit the US for a temporary period of time. Good luck to you and your family.
