I am STILL scared of the man who touched me. Whenever I see him in public , my stomach goes into a knot and I get sick to my stomach. PLEASE help me!!! I don't know what the limitation of time is to go after this guy.

I agree with my colleagues as far as contacting the police and consulting with an attorney, possibly getting a protection order so he can't come near you. However, you seem to be asking whether there is a statute of limitations on your claim/action since this happened in 2012. There is no statute of limitations on criminal offenses - so whether this happened two years ago or ten years ago, you should report it to the police. Whether the person is then pursued criminally for his actions is up to the prosecutor. Whether you have a civil claim against this person would need to be addressed by a local attorney - you can search for someone on or contact your local bar association for a referral. Best of luck to you.

First of all you should report this assault to the police. The best advice would be to set an appointment with an attorney who specializes in tort cases and personal injury cases. Then after a thorough review of all of the facts, they can give you an opinion as to whether you have a viable claim, and what procedural steps you should take. Many attorneys handle these cases on a contingency percentage fee, taking a percentage of the recovery. In contingency fee arrangements, there are no hourly fees. In some states attorneys do not charge anything for an initial appointment to discuss your case but in others there is a reasonable fee charged to compensate the attorney for their time and advice. I would suggest that you begin your search for an attorney on this website. There is a tab "Find A Lawyer" on the home page of at www.attorneyqna.com that will help you find a lawyer in this practice area in your locale. Good luck!

You are describing a potential case that would be an intentional tort. There is a one-year statute of limitation on that claim. There could also be a negligence claim against the business -- if this employee was known to the business as a potential problem, i.e. if the employee was negligently hired or kept as an employee once it became known of potential sexually harassing behaviors. Discuss this matter with an experienced attorney to review all possible legal remedies. If this man frequently appears near you in public, you may also want to talk to an attorney about civil protection order.
