What is the law in NV regarding a felony conviction from 30 years ago and legally owned/registered firearms in the house?
I will me moving to NV in a few months and legally own a 12g as well as a .38 handgun. The person I will be living with has a felony theft conviction from just over 30 years ago, served a year, paid restitution and has had no legal trouble since. No weapon was used in the crime. Would there be a problem with me bringing these into the home and registering these in NV or should I start the legal process to transfer them to my adult children here? I'm willing to give up physical possession if they may cause problems for this person at any time but would still like to keep them in the family. Thank you in advance!
