Unfortunately my answer is that you should have had a lawyer 3 or 4 yrs ago. At this point you should certainly talk to a worker's compensation specialist. Go to the find a lawyer section here or CAAA.org to locate one. Lawyers that do this type of work offer a free consult

You should definitely consult an attorney. Given the amount of time gone by your case has complications, and you need help to protect your rights. It sounds like you may have, not only two specific injuries, but also a cumulative trauma injury as you continue to get worse. Get help. You can click the "Find a Lawyer" tab at the top of this page and search for a local workers compensation attorney.

I do believe that you need a workers' compensation attorney to advocate for your rights. It sounds like your case is becoming more complicated than what you can handle alone. Look for an attorney on this website under the "Find a Lawyer" tab. Most lawyers will give you a consultation which may help you in your decision of retaining an attorney. Best of luck to you!

While I am not a believer that every injured worker needs an attorney, a failed surgery is on that usually does. I recommend you research this site, CAAA.org and calbar to find an attorney for a free consultation.
