My apartment has no thermostat
I live in Pennsylvania and I moved into an apartment in the Bucks County area in March. The heating source is oil heat. My landlord pays for the oil heat. But the problem is that I have to rely on my neighbor to provide my heat. I live in a house that is divided in 4 apartments, and my neighbor downstairs controls everyone's heating with his thermostat. Leaving us to have to rely on him to keep us warm. I was addressed by other neighbors that at times the guy goes to work (third shift) and forgets to raise the heat, leaving other neighbors apartments cold. Isn't it required for each unit to have their own controlled thermostat? I just don't find i right to live relying on my neighbor to control my heat. This is something my landlord avoided on telling me. What can I do?
