I just received my CA Vehicle registration renewal notice, and there is a park/toll violation on it.

The violation comes from LACMTA for a date in February. I believe this is from LA County Metro Transit Authority. I don't live in Southern CA, nor was I in the area in February. What can I do to get this removed? I believe this was applied to my vehicle in error. Thank you

Have you tried contacting the DMV and/or the LACMTA? Seems like a good place to start to me.

Yes, start with the DMV or LACMTA to figure out what this is. The should be a process for challenging an entry.

It's actually the LA County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. You can contact an attorney or you can see if the ticket has a way to contest by mail. see also metro.net, the website of the LACMTA
