You do not provide sufficient facts. Were you convicted of a white collar crime such that your bank accounts would be seized? Which government agency are you talking about? Typically bank accounts can be seized by the IRS after a proceedings or by law enforcement after a state or federal court process (not deportation proceedings).

Given that you state that you have no criminal record at all and your only violation was a false claim to US Citizenship, there is no reason for your accounts to be seized. You should speak to an attorney however since this board is not for case specific legal advice and you may have some defense to the false claim to US Citizenship.

The removal order issued by an immigration judge will not authorize the federal government to seize you assets and bank accounts.

I agree with my colleagues in that a removal order does not allow for the seizure of a bank account. However, it sounds like you really need to consult with an attorney privately to discuss your.options.

The Federal government will need authorization to seize bank accounts. This does happen usually in Federal convictions as part of judgment or by IRS order. As my colleague states, not enough facts provided, but in general practice there is no authorization to go into every deported person's background and seize assets.

I agree that an IJ removal order wil not allow government to seize assets. But I would recommend contacting an attorney to evaluate your case in immigration court. perhaps there is a way to avoid being ordered removed.

Hopefully you are dealing with the 'hot soup" - If you are worried about a false claim of citizenship (made in order to get a benefit of some kind) then you presumably are here lawfully. ICE do not care about anything except your presence, if you are undocumented. And if you are here lawfully with assets and bank accounts you go get real advice when there is a problem. Hot soup is only a problem if you burn yourself because of it.

No, an immigration judge only has jurisdiction over immigration issues.
