If I cut present full time H1B job to half time, and get 2nd job on new H1b do I need to go BACK to US Embassy for visa stamp?

I am a physician presently on an H1b (valid till 2016; with a visa on stamped on my passport from the US Embassy in India) for a FULL time job at Hospital #1. I plan on getting a new HALF time job at Hospital #2 on an ADDITIONAL H1b from Hospital #2. Also, I will concurrently cut down to HALF time at Hospital #1. Does this mean I need to go back to the US Embassy in India to get a NEW H1b visa stamped on my passport?

Please consult with an immigration attorney to obtain case specific advise. In general, based on your case, Hospital #1 would need to file an H-1B amendment for you, while Hospital #2 would need to file an H-1B for concurrent part-time employment.

Please consult with the attorney who was handling your case. You do not need need visa stamping unless you travel overseas. But you do need to file certain applications in order to be able to legally change details of your employment and accept a new one.
