My question is about 1-797 Notice of Action

I filed a petition for my son who is more than 21 years. Resently I recieved a I-797 Notice of Action from the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citicenship and Immigration Services. In the said Notice are the following: Notice Type: Approval Notice Section: Unmarried child 21/older of permanent resident, 203 (a) (2) (B) INA. What does this mean? Does it mean he will soon receive a pocket from the NVC asking him to choose an agent and start preparing all necessary ducuments for a U.S. visa?

Hi, You will next receive a letter from the NVC letting you know one of two things 1. Either that there is no visa number available and that they will keep the approved application on file (This is the most likely scenario as this is a seriously backloged category) OR 2. A fee bill for visa fees and instructions on how to pay Be sure he remains unmarried. When you become a citizen, you will want to write to the NVC with a copy of the NVC letter showing the case number and a copy of your naturalization certificate. This communication is intended as general information and not specific legal advice, and this communication does not create an attorney-client relationship. Consultation with an experienced competent immigration attorney is often the best way to address the complexities of individual immigration issues.
