You need to hire a lawyer to represent you in a DUID, DUI of prescription drugs, and you refused a chemical test.

You need a lawyer to represent you in court and the DMV Hearing. Thats all I heard here when I asked a question. Well, the Criminal case was dismissed due to my own due dilligence in researching applicable information to use while defending myself. 2 months later the DMV Hearing, for refusing a blood test, was dismissed as well. This goes to show if you apply yourself and do the research you have as good a chance of winning it yourself as with an attorney
Absolutely, you need to contact an attorney asap, you have a very limited time for setting a DMV hearing. Additionally, there may be evidence or further investigation necessary on your case where waiting could be detrimental. You can look for an attorney on attorneyqna.com or contact one of the attorneys who answered your question(myself included). Best of luck!
I am not so sure you have a question rather than telling us that you were able to successfully get your criminal case and your DMV case dismissed without the assistance of an attorney. Well, I am very happy for you that you got such good outcomes using your own research. Unfortunately most people are not that lucky and regardless of excellent research, they still have to face a criminal justice system that is not generally user friendly. While I am pleased at your outcome, I would not go so far as to say, as you did, "...you have as good a chance of winning it yourself as with an attorney." I have sat in court way too many times hearing how a prosecutor talked to and bullied a defendant who was without a lawyer or heard that prosecutor make an offer which sounded heavy handed. Also, I have sat through DMV hearings where the law and facts were on our side and the hearing officer simply ruled against the client. So, pat yourself on the back because you did a good job and got lucky. You can have the facts and law on your side and it can still be a battle. I hope you feel as free to come back and post next time when you defend yourself as I will suspect that you will not have the same outcome. For now though, it is time to celebrate for such a good outcome.
Congrats. Hope your arm doesn't get too sore from patting yourself on the back.
Now you should go to law school and become an attorney. You could make millions!!!
Wow. You are too humble. That is miraculous! The last time I read the law, refusal to take a chemical test will net you a one-year suspension of your driving privilege in Colorado.
