I'm 17 & just got pregnant at 16 a month before my 17th birthday & my boyfriend is now 27 and illegal. Is this situation legal?

He is illegal and 27, but he didn't do anything wrong. I just don't want him to get in trouble for getting me pregnant. We are still together and plan to get married later. My mom knows everything about it & my family likes him. Could he get charged or could anything happen to him?

I refuse to answer these questions as a matter of policy. Office police. My office's policy. Whether this is legal or not, it's a tragic situation. This guy will surely leave you before long and you'll have a baby to raise. Soon, you will be too old for your baby daddy. Do yourself a favor, and google "age of consent in SC." Then you can form your own opinion about the legality of the sex that resulted in this pregnancy. What a shame...
