My vehicle registration expired a month ago and I never received any renewal information from SOS. I was recently pulled over and cited for expired plates. My driving record is good otherwise. Do I take my new registration with me to Court and just pay the fine or should I schedule a hearing and contest my ticket?

Contest it & take your new registration to court. There is a real good chance the prosecutor will cut you a break if you have an otherwise good record.
