How do you apply for work release or house arrest?
My son was sentenced for felony DUI (third DUI) no one was injured. He was sentence under California Ab-109

Through the Sheriff's department so contact the sheriff. They will assist your son and have him fill out paper work.

There are many factors that go into what may qualify or disqualify a person for house arrest. Sometimes it is the best option but many times it is not the best option. You should discuss this matter with your son's attorney. They should know best what is available.

Once he is in jail or prison, he can ask the jailers if he is eligible. Your son just needs to ask, but he may not be granted this.
