I have a friend and her kid living with me as a guest for 1 month already... she doesnt pay rent or any bills... I was doing her the favor so she can save up but now its time to go... She told me she will leave on the 15th.... If she doesnt leave on the 15th, can I get all her belongings and put it in the living room and lock the guest bedroom so she doesnt try to go back in.. I really want her out now and she shouldve left 2 weeks ago... She has her kid so I am letting her stay till the 15th, but thats it... So can I kick her out like this and if she calls the cops can I get arrested? Her mom knows the story and she does have places to stay at....

You need to proceed cautiously. While you need not evict her if she will not leave voluntarily, you cannot physically remove her, you will need to file an action for unlawful detainer, similar to eviction but this applies to non-landlord/tenant scenarios. The Hillsborough County Clerk website has a great doc package (see www.hillsclerk.com/PublicWeb/WorkArea/downloadasset.aspx?id=8825), but I recommend you contact an attorney rather than trying to file it yourself.

Be careful you cannot just pursue self help. You do need court intervention. The best scenario is to get her to move on her own.

Generally, NOPE, if she refuse to leave you will have to use an unlawful detainer lawsuit, at your expense, to have a judge make her leave. Otherwise YOU risk bad things happening like her suing you for throwing her in the street improperly.
