Getting to trial is always fun. If its contested its longer. They have trail dates but not all cases can get heard so thats a crystal ball question. If she fails to show up, your trail is 10 minutes, wham bam you win.

This sounds like one I just answered earlier today. How long it takes to get a trial date depends on how busy the Court is. The coordinator can help you in getting that date. Usually there is a pretrial in the court where the Judge sees if everybody is ready and sets the date. If she does not show up at the pretrial you get divorced then on your terms.

It is impossible to tell you how long it will take to get a trial date. Each trial is scheduled by the individual court where your case is assigned. By law you are required to provide the other party at least 45 days' notice but it in most cases it will take longer than that. The more time the trial is expected to take the further out your trial will be scheduled. If the other party does not show up for the trial you will be able to proceed, assuming you can show you gave proper notice of the trial date to the other party.
