What are my options if my wife did not declare jewelry she took away with her when she left the house and filed for divorce?

This jewelry was gift (and had family heirlooms) to me in our overseas pre-legal wedding ceremony.Since this is a significant asset in our short lived marriage (less than two years), I want to claim this as my separate property. However , she hasn't even declared this during discovery process. I have the original receipt from overseas where it was purchased. What can I do legally so she comes clean ?I also want to recover my attorney fee for going through this very unnecessary hassle.

When you employ an attorney they should file an Answer or Counter Petition asking for attorney fees and they will prove up fees during your trial. You, through your attorney, should file an Inventory and Appraisement of your assets (both Community and Separate) on this document you should list the jewelry, how it was acquired, and its value.

If the property was truly gifted to her, it is her separate property and not subject to division on divorce. Whether or not property is a gift is a fact question based on donative intent. Talk to your lawyer. If you don't have one, get a lawyer.

If you have attorney fees you have a lawyer. That is who you should talk to about this.
