I'm an F1 student who is in the process of registering a business (LLC). The operating agreement has two versions. Member managed or manager managed. What option should I go with? Can I go with the member managed and appoint a US citizen or a green card holder to manage the business ? Thanks in advance

Regardless of how you do that, you cannot be employed in that business only silent investor.

Considering the fact that you can not collect as much as one penny from the business, it probably doesn't matter. That's right ... no financial benefit can go to you. Meet with a lawyer to learn more.
