How long does it take to have state tax dept attach a bank account for missed payment?

I live in CT. I had a payment arrangement set up w? CT Dept of Revenue Services for 4 payments of $46.02 for personal income tax. Made first 2 ontime, 3rd check got lost in mail. Was due 11/25. Just got check back from post office. REcv'd letter from CT Revenue saying enforcement could be taken for the late $46.02. I made a payment online. Should I worry about my paycheck being garnished? With this payment I am current.

If all you still owe is one more payment of $46.02, the tax department is rather unlikely to resort to going through the time-consuming process of seizing a bank account or garnishing your wages unless you simply refuse to pay it for more than a few months. Get that last payment in as soon as possible and, based on your description, that should be the end of it.
