EAD production timeline I-765 application filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485 (marriage-based)

I received an email informing me that, "On December 19, we ordered your new card for Receipt number xxxxxx, and will mail it to the address that you gave us." What is the usual processing time before I can actually receive it? Do I have to "personally" receive it from the mailman, or will it just be left in the mailbox? I live in an apartment with three floors but with three corresponding mailboxes. Thank you!

The EAD should arrive in 1-2 weeks. Keep in mind the numerous government holidays. The card will be delivered via USPS - 1st class mail service. Sadly, you are not required to sign. If you live in a place where mail is stolen often, I would advice going to the USPS office that delivers your mail and seeing if they can do anything to keep the mail so you can pick it up.

It normally arrives within 10 days - it will be left in the mailbox, you do not have to sign for it. Only after 30 days can you make any inquiry.

The EAD will be delivered to the address that you listed in he FORM I-765 by regular (" first class") mail in less than a week from the December 19 email notice.
