I developed a pulmonary as a side effect of birth control. Do I have a case?

Birth control was Othro Tri Sprintec. I was taking the oral birth control for a little over a year. I was hospitalized for a little over a month after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, I was on oxygen, developed pneumonia, and was prescribed lovenox as well as Coumadin. I am 26 years old. I am not a smoker nor am I obese. It has been six months and I still haven't returned to normal health. I still have bruises from the blood thinner injection sites and I am now extremely anemic.

If you were harmed as a result of the product, then this may be a product liability issue and you should consult a products liability attorney. You should speak to one right away to make sure your claim will not be barred by the applicable statute of limitations. Also, if must be proven that the birth control caused these issues, which the attorney you speak to should further discuss with you.

Sorry to hear that. You are best served by using the above feature or the internet to find a "bad drug" product liability lawyer to discuss the specifics of your case. Consultations should be free.

You need to contact an attorney who handles drug product litigation matters. These are difficult cases, so getting someone who does these cases on a regular basis is a must.
