Can I sell a car that didn't pass an emissions test?
My car didn't pass the emissions test and I don't want to put any money into it can the car be sold to someone else, I really don't want to scrap it.

You can sell your car, but you would be very wise to disclose the omissions failure and to get a receipt of the disclosure in writing from your buyer.

If you disclose the issue, and sell the car "as is", there's no problem.
