My obgyn gave me zofran due to vomiting in early pregnancy. Problem is, it was never FDA approved to take while pregnant because it can cause heart defects or cleft lip in babies. I am now 15weeks pregnant and decided on my own to stop taking the pills. Basically my question is can i sue if my child comes out with any deformities since i was not informed of this prior to taking the pill, i even asked if it was safe for the baby and they said "the doctor knows your pregnant" . Upset and afraid.
