The person could be charged with S 165.40 Criminal possession of stolen property. A person is guilty of criminal possession of stolen property in the FIFTH degree when he knowingly possesses stolen property, with intent to benefit himself or a person other than an owner thereof or to impede the recovery by an owner thereof. (Class A misdemeanor). 4th degree - if property exceeds $1000. 3rd degree - if property exceeds $3,000.

Yes, specially if the person knows the computer has been reported stolen. Stay away from these items.

It is possible. There needs to be evidence of the individual knowing that the property he has is stolen when he sells it.

Depending on the level of knowledge that the seller had or should have had that this was stolen, yes they could be guilty of dealing in stolen goods.
