It depends on several factors, including how old your prior dui is, whether the present incident involved an accident, what your blood alcohol level was etc. Make sure you consult with a local criminal attorney to discuss your defenses, since jail time is a possibility.
Ms. Rendleman's answer is spot on. Many questions that only be answered and asked during a consultation. First the warrant for failure to appear will need to be recalled. Your lawyer and you do need one will put you back on the court calendar. Schedule a couple of free consultations with local counsel and pick the one you like, trust and can afford. Good luck to you. Hope these answers help?
Ignore the out of state attorney responses, as they do not apply in PG County. It depends on how long ago the first one was. If you first was ten years ago or more, there will be no jail. If your first was within the last ten years, and you get an attorney who knows what he is doing, you will get no worse than seven days and be released after serving five, but it is possible to do better than that, that is the worst case scenario IF YOUR ATTORNEY knows PG County and knows what to do there, its different than other counties

It depends on the length of time between DUI's, the treatment program that you do, the judge, the State's Attorney, and other factors. Consult with an attorney right away and take this seriously. If you cannot afford private counsel, contact the Public Defender as soon as possible and no later than 10 business days before the court date. You may get weekends or you may be able to avoid jail altogether depending on the facts.
The DUI also can result in a suspension of your driver's license so you need to move quickly. Good luck!
PG County is rather unique. If you don't get the deal/result you want in District Court, there is an alternative option at the circuit court level that has a guaranteed result--which may be the route you should decide to take without going forward in District Court. Hire a lawyer familiar with PG County, and go over the options best for your circumstances.
No one can guarantee the outcome. Perhaps you have defenses, or perhaps you might develop persuasive mitigation. Seek a confidential consultation with an experienced criminal defense attorney. Beware that online posts are not confidential.
