How do I find an attorney for little or no cost to help me save my license before jan 1st for a DUI case I am facing

This is my first time ever getting in trouble. I am a single mom working two jobs. I am up against a DUI and leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury. I know the driver of the other car is completely fine and before I just up and left the scene I did get out and talk with her. I didn't exchange my info though but we did know each other and I asked if she was ok. I am looking and seeking for help fast to see how to go about all this

If you can't afford an attorney, you can have one assigned to you free of cost by the court.

While you may be eligible for a public defender or indigent defense counsel for the criminal case, those attorneys cannot help you with the administrative driver's license hearing. You will need to hire an attorney to help you with your license. You should consult an experienced criminal defense lawyer to help you with your case. Keep in mind there are extremely short timelines for the license issues (10 days from the mailing of the Report & Notice form). Good luck.

Since the cost is obviously of much greater concern to you then saving your license and driving privileges I suggest you go over to the law library and lShepardize the pertinent cases to prepare your brief for your upcoming hearing in less than a week
