My former company violated the L1 blanket petition

I was in US under an L1A blanket petition (during the first 3 years of validity). I left US before the initial I-797 and I-94 period ran off. During the time I was with them, the company changed it's name (during the last 3 mo I was there) and closed one office (diff office then the one I worked on) - I found out those are violations of the blanket petition. More so, it didn't file for the indefinite status - so, I'm sure by now the blanket was revoked (after I left) Is there any way that this is tied to my record ? another company wants to sponsor a h1b and I want to make sure that I won't have any issues bc of what my former company was doing. I want to mention that I left US before the initial I-797 (and I-94) ended - can a revoked blanket petition of a prev comp come back to hunt me?

Tied to your record? Possibly, but probably not. Talk to the other company's immigration lawyer .. do NOT waste time talking to the NON-ATTORNEYS in HR.

If you are referring to whether or not a previous employer's visa violations may adversely affect you in terms of future visa applications--probably not. Though you should discuss the circumstances with an immigration attorney. As you have already discussed a new visa based on H1B employment with a new prospective employer, you should discuss your concerns with her/him, i.e., the new employer's immigration attorney.

I doubt that the actions taken by your previous L-1 company that you describe would affect your future H-1B visa application. The fact that the blanket petition later expired or was revoked has no effect on you.
