Yes. You should definitely hire s traffic ticket attorney to fight any and all traffic ticket charges. Traffic ticket lawyers offer a cost effective solution to the higher insurance premiums you will get if you just pay your ticket. I have been fighting traffic tickets for over 26 years. In that time, I have found that almost any traffic ticket can be fought and won in a way that is beneficial to the client and worth the money. This includes speeding and following too closely citations. Get a traffic ticket lawyer involved and you will probably not have to go to court, but you will save a lot of money in the long run.

It would likely increase your chances of successfully fighting it. Only you can decide if the cost is worth the increased odds. Most offer free consultations, so call around and see if you want to hire.

You are always much better off with an attorney on your side.

You could always get an attorney who has a free consultation and from that meeting decide if it's worth the cost to you to have one. You'll always do better if you have a lawyer representing you.

Your odds are much better if you hire an attorney since they deal with these kind of issues everyday, though Fighting traffic tickets in general, even if you go at it on your own, generally is worth it. If the police officer doesn't appear that ticket could be dismissed altogether, and often if they do show up they offer you a deal of dropping points/charge to get you to settle. There is no real downside to fighting the ticket whether you hire an attorney or not, but definitely give one a call, many offer free consultations and you can weigh the cost/benefit.
