My soon to be ex husband & I have been separated for a year. We are in midst of a custody battle and moving forward with a 604.5 custody evaluation. Our 2 children are young & their father is exposing them to his new partner which is very traumatic for our oldest she is very confused and is displaying aggressive behavior at school. I do not believe now is the time for him to be exposing the children to a new partner given custody circumstances . What he does on is own time is his business but can I ask court to Prevent him from exposing children to his new partner & children untl custody is decided.

Yes, you can ask the court to restrict your husband's introduction of his girlfriend to your children.if the children are negatively effected by this conduct. Once again, it is suggested that you hire an attorney if you do not have one. You have asked several questions which seem to indicate you are attempting to handle this on your own. That is a big mistake and not only you but also your children seem to be suffering as a result. If you cannot afford an attorney, your husband will most likely be ordered to contribute to your fees. Please consult with several attorneys. There are many outstanding attorneys in your area.

You can certainly ask the judge to prohibit the introduction of a new partner to the kids. If you're working with a lawyer, discuss this issue with him/her. If you're not, get one asap.

You can file a motion and ask that the children not be exposed to this new partner.
