Family Pet ashes Concerns...

4 views 3 answers
About a week ago I posted my concerns of my husband having our son remove the family dogs ashes from my home. Thank you to the Attorney's that did Reply. We are on speaking terms and last Friday when I dropped our son off at his fathers the matter was resolved calmly. The ashes will stay in my care if anything becomes of, however if our son wants to "take them for a ride" to his fathers with him that is also ok. My husband claimed he did not ask nor tell our son to remove them from the home and was very willing to turn them back over. We resolve all matters that involve our son, calmly and with respect to each with whatever issue may be at hand.

It's good to hear that you were able to solve your problem amicably and without the need for court intervention. Moreover, it provides your child with a great example with respect to problem-solving.
