1s time offense fender bender, leaving scene of accident, do we need an attorny

My 21 year old son had his license for 6 months, was involved in a fender bender (no damage to either car) got scared and left the scene. He was issued a ticket with 3 citations on it. We went to court to plead guilty and pay the fines and he was told his license would be suspended for 6 months and that he should contact an attorney. Before us their were two OVI's and they had driving suspensions but were allowed to drive to work. Is there any way he can get the same privileges as a drunk driver and should we have an attorney represent him.
You will need to go back to court and ask the judge for driving privileges. I do not know the facts of the case but I would say it is likely he can get privileges. An attorney will be able to help you accomplish this.
Yes, yes, yes you need an attorney. Many times a good defense attorney can assist with avoiding the license suspension as long as the vehicle had insurance that covers the accident. If the court does suspend the license and the vehicle was insured the attorney can assist with filing for driving privileges.

Yes, you should get an attorney. It should be possible to arrange for driving privileges. You ought to have gotten an attorney before you ever went to court. The suspension probably could have been avoided altogether.
