Is CBD Oil really legal in Texas?

I keep seeing that CBD Oil is legal to ship to all 50 states. I am sick with Cancer and other aliments so this is medicine I really could use. Plus I need to know if I should choose to stay living in Texas or relocate. Thank You.

The FDA considers hemp oil or CBD to be a dietary supplement, if made from industrial hemp plants. If this is the case, you should not need a prescription and can legally purchase and consume it in any state. Cannabidiol from industrial hemp has virtually no THC, so it should be legal to purchase and consume in any state. However, if the cannabidiol comes from medical marijuana, you must be located in a state where medical marijuana has been legalized.

I don't know where you're seeing it, but I don't see it. Far as I am aware, CBD oil is not legal in Texas. It is legal for medical use in only Utah, Alabama, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Iowa, Florida, Georgia, New York, and Missouri. It is always possible that additional states have passed laws related to it, but certainly not all 50 because it'll get you serious time here in Virginia.
