Can I sue my landlord for sexual harassment?

landlord asks me for nude photos of myself, purchases unwanted gifts, requests that I accompany him on overnight trips, tells me that he can make me have amazing orgasms. I am a single mother of three young daughters. He is married.
Some states and local cities have laws or ordinances that govern conduct of landlords. I suggest that you contact a Tenant Rights organization and also consult with an attorney who is knowledgeable in Landlord Tenant law. I would suggest that you begin your search for an attorney on this website. There is a tab "Find A Lawyer" on the home page of at www.attorneyqna.com that will help you find a lawyer in this practice area in your locale. Good luck!
The answer is no (with the possible exception of seeking a restraining order for stalking), but you should hire an attorney to send a cease & desist letter and to represent you in discussions for terminating the tenancy, so you can get the heck out of there.
Have a cease and desist letter sent from an attorney to his home address. There's a 50/50 chance the wife will open the letter and she will likely get to the bottom of it. The harassment will likely stop at that point.
As previous attorneys have mentioned your best bet is to contact local attorney and have them send a cease and desist letter as well as alert the property owner so they are put on notice and can take corrective action. That is horrible that you are having to live in such a situation but hopefully you can find someone that will help you fix this problem. If you have any proof of these actions that is helpful, such as any notes or gifts.

I suggest that you tell him you are not interested and if he continues to bother you tell him you are going to file a police report for stalking. I don't know if Ft. Walton has any landlord ordinances governing this. Perhaps a threat to call his wife would be more effective than a threat to call the police.
