An arraignment is simply a formal reading of the charge. Nothing of substance takes place at an arraignment. The judge will announce your name and ask how you plead; guilty, not guilty or no contest. If you hire an attorney, the attorney will Ike paperwork pleading you not guilty and waiving your appearance at the arraignment. Many attorneys on offer free consultations. I encourage you to call a lawyer to speak about the specifics of your case.

An arraignment is a proceeding where the court asserts jurisdiction over you, notifies you of the charges, considers bail and sets the rest of the case in motion. You should be assigned counsel at this proceeding if you cannot afford one beforehand.

The arraignment is where you are told of the charges against you. It is also a time when bail is set. I think you should have an attorney represent your interests

An arraignment is a hearing where you are informed of the charges against you and you enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. You most certainly need an attorney with you if you are charged with a crime.
