I changed my Name due to change of my Religion, is my B1,B2 visa still valid?

I was a muslim, and became christian, and I changed my name in my country Ethiopia. I am planning to apply for a new passport with the new name. My B1,B2 Visa expires at the end 2015.

If you have lawfully changed your name , your B-1/B-2 visa will remain valid. You will need to carry extra documents to verify your change of name if you choose to carry the prior passport with the valid visa and the new passport with the name change. You can also ask the U.S. consulate to reissue the B-1/B-2 visa in your new passport. Good luck to you.
