How long it take to process Appeal and Motion to reopen after 130/485 denial?

I'm married to US citizen for over 5 years now. We had 2 interviews. One of those interviews was a stoke interview. We passed the stoke interview. But later we received "Request for additional evidence". We submitted partial response. And we received denial. We sent Appeal to BIA and motion to reopen to local office in Sept 2009. We haven't heard anything yet. How long it take to Appeal and Motion to reopen? Is there any statistics? Is it normal that they didn't send us any letters that they accepted these applications? Is there a file numbers for applications like that?

Generally a motion to reopen takes between 6 months to 1 year. However, you might want to analyze your case with a good immigration lawyer to see if you can just refile the entire case. Unfortunately you have not provided enough facts in this question to determine whether refiling is possible or even an option.
