I have court in two days and I don't have a lawyer the other party does i was granted a emergency order and had only 4 days to find a lawyer. He had hit my daughter with a basket i called local child and family on him before it was granted there was a previous order for him to have custody of the children that wasnt ever followed because we lived in the same household do u think I will lose because I don't have a lawyer even though I can prove i have done everything with the children and he has a pending case with dcfs i want my child to speak in court. Is that possible

You definitely need an attorney unless you can figure out the OP statute and the rules of evidence by Tuesday. You also need to address the custody issue. Get an attorney to get it right or you will pay more to get it fixed later.

your child will not speak in court. your child will testify if you know the rules of evidence and how to present the testimony. the op hearing is not about custody. it is about the op and the hitting. you asked this yesterday and we answered you. the answers have not changed in 24 hours.

Yes, you will be at a severe disadvantage without a lawyer and you may well lose if you don't have an attorney when the other side, your opponent, does.
