PEOPLE ARE SAYING SOMETHING HAS TO HAPPEN BEFORE I CAN TAKE ACTION.WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?THANK YOU FOR THE LEGAL ADVICE

You should not leave until the order is signed. Ask your lawyer why it is taking so long. If you have no lawyer call the judge's assistant. But it always takes a lot longer without a lawyer. I do not see the relevance of him having a gun unless he is threatening and stalking you. If that is the case call the police and get an injunction.

You are correct that the Magistrate's order needs to be approved by the Circuit Judge. Starting in January the Judges in Sarasota did rotate. However, the new Judge in your case can sign the Order. As for the recent behavior by the father, you should consult an attorney who can look at your prior orders and advise you regarding your and the father's rights regarding time sharing with your child. He or she can also help follow up with he Judge's office regarding the unsigned Order.
